Bob Long and the rest of the Long for Mayor team were extremely excited about the announcement today that Tammy Tesky has agreed to come on board as Finance Director of the campaign.

Tammy has extensive fundraising experience, both in the political arena as well as with non-profit organizations. Most recently, Tammy was Deputy Finance Director for Betty McCollum, St. Paul's first female Congressperson. Earlier this year, Tammy was Deputy Finance Director of the Miles for U.S. Senate Campaign, and in 1998, Tammy was Finance Director of Ember Reichgott Junge's campaign for Attorney General. Until she returned to the political front this year, Tammy was a successful fundraiser with the Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Minnesota.

"Tammy is a great addition to our team," commented Bob Long. "You can feel the excitement and energy of our steering committee, co-chairs and volunteers. Like the rest of the team, Tammy is ready to roll up her sleeves and get to work."
