The Bob Long Campaign is rolling ahead!!!

Since announcing that I will run in the September 11 primary, I have spoken with friends, family, neighbors and supporters. Hundreds of people have called and encouraged me to keep our campaign of ideas going. I will continue to focus on the issues that matter to St. Paul residents: Kids, Jobs, Homes, Neighborhoods, and Fiscal Responsibility. I am strongly committed to bringing the best ideas together to do what's right for St. Paul.

This will be a fun-filled summer as we hit the streets of St. Paul. I am excited and ready to campaign door to door with a vision to Keep St. Paul Moving Forward. I will be taking my "Bob Long Around Town" tour to street corners, coffee shops, block parties, fairs, parades and other events around the city. If you have not seen me yet, you will. I will be everywhere!

As you may know, the media has reported this as a close race. The StarTribune recently released its poll results putting me ahead of one of my main competitors and very close to the other in name recognition. This is great news! With our strategy to get our message to the voters and with a lot of hard work, I know we have the collective energy and the momentum to win in September and again in November.
